Upper Middle Bogan
WEDNESDAY, ABC, 8.30PM
It’s festive season in the Upper Middle Bogan finale tonight, and both Margaret (Robyn Nevin) and Julie (Robyn Malcolm, right) are struggling to come to terms with the idea of doing Christmas without Bess (Annie Maynard) and her family, who are off to New York for a white Christmas. Son Oscar (Harrison Feldman) has his own worries to take care of, buying a Kris Kringle present for his crush – who also happens to be his student teacher. Over at the Wheelers, there are struggles of a different kind as Wayne (Glenn Robbins, above) and Kayne (Rhys Mitchell) get to work on a lights display that they hope will be better than the neighbours’ for once.
