DE­SIGNED to chal­lenge and stim­u­late the minds of school stu­dents, Sa­cred Heart Col­lege en­tered teams from years 7, 8, 9 and 10 in the WA da Vinci De­cathlon Com­pe­ti­tion.

Through­out the day, the teams of eight worked to­gether across dis­ci­plines in­clud­ing en­gi­neer­ing, math­e­mat­ics and chess, code break­ing, art and po­etry, science, English, phi­los­o­phy, cre­ative pro­duc­ers, car­tog­ra­phy, gen­eral knowl­edge and ide­ol­ogy.

The stu­dents de­cided amongst them­selves who would com­pete in each of the events in or­der to try max­imise their scores.

Sa­cred Heart Col­lege would like to con­grat­u­late each par­tic­i­pant on their ef­forts as well as thank the head of gifted and tal­ented ed­u­ca­tion, Tanya Ather­ton, for her un­ceas­ing en­ergy and en­thu­si­asm that in­spires the stu­dents to do their best.
