BOLSTER BIKE SECURITY TO AVOID THEFT
TO avoid motorbike and scooter theft, make locks visible because deterrence works. Always use a lock and chain through a front or rear wheel to a frame or fixed object. Install an alarm, use a steering lock and cover the scooter. When in public, leave it in full view of passing public. Make sure doors and windows are locked when it is in a garage. Helmets and riding gear should be secured elsewhere. Engrave the frame or fit microdots. -Sgt Warren Ameduri BURNS BEACH POLICE charged an allegedly drunk teenager with reckless driving in Burns Beach and Iluka recently.
