Lease for health service

Joondalup Times - - STREET WATCH -

Child and Adolescent Health Service has operated at no charge from an office at Pearsall Hocking Community Centre since February, on an annual hire agreement with the City.

The City’s June 27 report said the absence of a formal lease had contributed to “confusion and lack of clarity” around maintenance and rental costs and recommended formalising the agreement to provide equity with other government and not-for-profit tenants.

Councillors endorsed the lease at the June meeting, providing a five-year term at a cost of $1 per year, with the service responsible for utilities, phone and internet services, maintenance and cleaning.
