POLICE have released the name of a man who died at Greenwood train station last week after falling on to the tracks.

David Allan Collins (69) was a Greenwood resident and a former teacher at Halidon Primary School in Kingsley.

“We are deeply saddened by his passing and express our condolences to his family,” she said.

Transperth spokesman David Hynes said the accident happened after 10am on Friday. “He was riding a motorised bicycle and appeared to lose control on the platform and fell into the path of an oncoming train,” he said.
