POLICE have charged a boy and are searching for up to 14 others accused of attacking and robbing multiple people in separate incidents on one night in Joondalup late last month. The alleged attackers targeted two teenage boys, aged 13 and 14, as they walked to the entrance of a Joondalup Drive takeaway outlet about 6.30pm on September 24. One of the boys was allegedly thrown to the ground and kicked before having his shoes and phone stolen. A second incident happened about an hour later at a Dwyer Turn takeaway outlet. A 17-year-old boy and 23-year-old woman were sitting on a kerb at the front of the store when a group of males surrounded them. The boy was struck to the head with a bottle and punched. Police allege the woman had her purse stolen. The male victim needed stitches for a head wound. Officers charged a 16-year-old boy with two counts of aggravated armed robbery in relation to the first incident. He is due to appear in Joondalup Children’s Court on October 17. Anyone who recognises the males pictured is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
