Ruby gem of volunteer
RUBY Eagle (73) was the people’s choice winner at the WA Volunteer of the Year awards.
She has volunteered weekly at AQWA for more than 24 years, teaching youngsters about the marine environment, conservation and tips to save endangered species, such as keeping waterways clean.
She was also a teacher with Australian Volunteers International in the Marshall Islands and volunteers weekly at Perth Airport.
