Drugs and gun seized after car searched

PO­LICE seized a pis­tol and meth after stop­ping a ve­hi­cle and search­ing a house in Maranga­roo last Thurs­day.

Of­fi­cers from the Meth En­force­ment Task­force charged two peo­ple after seiz­ing the drugs and firearm on Oc­to­ber 4. Po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle with two peo­ple in­side as it left an ad­dress in Maranga­roo and al­legedly found methy­lam­phetamine and am­mu­ni­tion dur­ing a search.

They then ex­e­cuted a war­rant at the ad­dress and al­legedly found a hid­den semi-au­to­matic pis­tol.

Po­lice charged a Maranga­roo man (31), whom they claim is a mem­ber of the Rebels out­law mo­tor­cy­cle gang gang, with ag­gra­vated pos­ses­sion of an un­li­censed firearm.

They charged a Yanchep wo­man (29) with pos­sess­ing methy­lam­phetamine with in­tent to sell or sup­ply, pos­sess­ing a smok­ing im­ple­ment and wil­fully de­stroy­ing ev­i­dence.
