Drug-free health aid win tech title
PERTH company Oska Wellness is making a global impact with a device that reduces muscle stiffness and chronic pain, and helps patients recover from injuries.
Co-founded by Darren Wedge, of Kensington, and Michael and Shirley Hawker, from Hocking, Oska Wellness has been recognised for the second time by US organisation MedTech.
Oska Wellness received the title of Best New Technology Solution – Pain Management for its Oska Pulse device at the MedTech Breakthrough awards for top companies, technologies and products in the global health and medical industry.
Mr Wedge said Oska Wellness’ mission was to provide non-invasive, drugfree pain management solutions that were effective.
Oska Pulse is a portable and wearable health technology device designed to reduce muscle stiffness, address chronic pain and assist with the repair and recovery from injuries.
