HEAD to The Wood­vale Tav­ern for lunch or din­ner, with the tav­ern launch­ing a new menu for the spring and sum­mer sea­son.

The tav­ern is keep­ing the pub clas­sics and team­ing them up with a huge range of ex­cit­ing new dishes, in­clud­ing piz­zas and desserts.

Try the new chicken and chorizo risotto or the prawn cock­tail with a twist, served in a half-pint glass with a shot of bloody Mary sauce.

The smoky bar­be­cue osso buco with hand-cut chips and lemon ‘slaw is sure to be a new favourite and the tav­ern’s wood-fired piz­zas are al­ways pop­u­lar.

The weekly spe­cials con­tinue, in­clud­ing $18 pizza and pint on Mon­days, $18 home­made pasta night on Tues­days, steak and quiz night on Wed­nes­days, and $20 parmi and poker night on Thurs­days.

The ul­ti­mate Sun­day roast will con­tinue through­out sum­mer, which fea­tures three cour­ses served carvery style, 12-8pm ev­ery Sun­day for $28.90.

Cel­e­brate Mel­bourne Cup day in style at the Wood­vale Tav­ern and Re­cep­tion Cen­tre.

The re­cep­tion cen­tre will host the main event this year where for only $58, you will get a glass of Mumm cham­pagne and three course meal with hunky wait­ers, sweep­stakes, DJ, games and prizes.
