JOON­DALUP will look to bounce back in its sec­ond game of the WA Pre­mier Cricket sea­son after a 44-run loss to Univer­sity.

The Cen­tu­ri­ons face Mid­land-Guild­ford at Iluka on Saturday.

The side fell for 211 chas­ing 8255 at James Oval last week­end.

Univer­sity’s Max Hope (67) and Will Bo­sisto (97) pro­duced an im­pres­sive 125-run sec­ond wicket stand, which proved to be the dif­fer­ence.

Joon­dalup’s Si­mon Branston took 3-46.

Cen­tu­ri­ons cap­tain Michael John­son top scored with 57, while opener Jaron Mor­gan struck 55.

The visitors looked on tar­get at 5-165 but lost their fi­nal five wick­ets for just 35 runs.
