Owners Gary and Chris Laut said they supervised all the trades when building the home, which was completed in 2007, to ensure it perfectly suited their needs.

“With three boys, space was key,” Mr Laut said.

“Every living area and all the bedrooms have ocean views.”

Enter the home via a secure gated portico and welcoming hall, with the fifth bedroom to the right featuring double built-in robes, reverse-cycle airconditioning and easy access to the third bedroom.

The spacious open-plan living and dining area, along with the cedar-lined alfresco area plus outdoor kitchen, is made for entertaining, complemented by a covered outdoor spa with timber decking, timberlined ceiling and outdoor shower.

The indoor kitchen has an island bench, stone benchtops, timber cabinetry, built-in pantry, canopy-style rangehood and dishwasher.

The separate home theatre room features a coffered ceiling and Foxtel points, while the utilities are tucked away at the rear of the home, including a double garage, storage space with workbench and laundry with lots of storage. Upstairs, the sitting room with concealed bar and balcony is a great extra entertaining area.

“The home’s exterior features reconstituted limestone blocks, which last longer and are easy to maintain,” Mr Laut said.
