loved the proximity to Yellagonga Regional Park.

“The abundant bird life, kangaroos, bobtails, turtles and even the occasional snake made it a great place to live, walk, cycle or jog,” Chris said.

Inside, there is a large openplan lounge room, a dining room and a sunken games room for family time.

There is also a paved rear alfresco space with a built-in barbecue overlooking lush gardens.

“The house has evolved with us,” Chris said. “Initially we had a large and very expensive-tomaintain front verge and the backyard was a huge expanse of grass. We re-landscaped both areas and now it requires minimal maintenance.

“This is great as we have been grey nomads for the past few years and we can simply lock and leave.”

There are four bedrooms, including the master with triple built-in robes, a walk-in robe, split-system airconditioning and well-appointed ensuite.

Other features include zoned reverse-cycle airconditioning, Crimsafe security doors, roller shutters, solar panels, and a extra deep garage with room for a small workshop.

“Edgewater is a superb community,” Moira said. “We know just about all of our neighbours.

“Many are elderly and our cul-de-sac has always looked out for them.

“We also have some families with young children, teens and adult children.”
