Swim­ming Pool In­spec­tion Pro­gram Kings­ley and Green­wood

The Lo­cal Govern­ment Act re­quires the City to in­spect the se­cu­rity of pri­vate swim­ming pools at least once ev­ery four years. City of Joon­dalup pool in­spec­tors are cur­rently work­ing in Kings­ley and Green­wood and will be vis­it­ing all prop­er­ties with a pool or spa in this area dur­ing the next few weeks. Res­i­dents are re­minded that all types of swim­ming pools, in­clud­ing per­ma­nent and por­ta­ble spas, pad­dling pools and pools lo­cated in­doors are re­quired to be reg­is­tered with the City and are sub­ject to safety in­spec­tions. All types of pools in­clud­ing spas and above ground pools re­quire a build­ing per­mit. If you fail to ob­tain a build­ing per­mit, sig­nif­i­cant penal­ties may ap­ply.
