THE family name synonymous with WA football and crayfishing in Cervantes will be well represented at this Saturday’s AFL grand final.

Silky-skilled West Coast Eagles small forward Mark LeCras’ parents Peter and Leonie headed to Melbourne last night and older brother Brent will travel today.

Brent, drafted by North Melbourne and a premiership player with West Perth, is going to the grand final with wife Lauren and their children Koby (10) and Max (5).

“It should be pretty good; hopefully they can get up,” Brent said.

Brent said a few cousins, including former Falcon Tyson Lord, and people from Cervantes were also heading to Melbourne to watch Mark play.

“We’ve chatted like normal,” Brent said of his brother. “Mum’s a bit nervous but Dad is cool and collected; they’re both excited and hoping for a different result to 2015.”
