Kind gestures

Joondalup Weekender - - Opinion - MARILYN RUSSELL, Ridgewood

KINDNESS is still alive.

On Saturday I was at a bakery in Quinns purchasing my pie for lunch while watching the grand final.

I was so surprised that a lovely man and his son were in the shop and he said to the assistant ‘I will pay for the lady’s purchases’.

I was so grateful and surprised at the generous gesture that I cried.

Then, when I was walking back to my car which was parked in the disabled bay, another gentleman stopped and took my shopping and placed it into the car.

Both men have restored my faith in humanity and I say once again to both of you, thank you so much for making my day.

Maybe this was an omen as the Eagles had a win.
