New Reiwa boss at helm

DAMIAN Collins is the new pres­i­dent of the Reiwa coun­cil.

He was elected last week af­ter Hay­den Groves’ an­nounce­ment he would fin­ish his term on Oc­to­ber 4.

Mr Collins has served on the coun­cil since 2011 and as deputy pres­i­dent since 2015.

He has over 25 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in the real es­tate in­dus­try and is the founder and man­ag­ing direc­tor of Mo­men­tum Wealth, a Perth-based prop­erty in­vest­ment con­sul­tancy.

He is also chair­man of com­mer­cial prop­erty funds man­age­ment busi­ness Mair Prop­erty Funds.

He is a mem­ber of the In­sti­tute of Char­tered Ac­coun­tants in Aus­tralia and the Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices In­sti­tute of Aus­trala­sia.

“It is an hon­our to be elected pres­i­dent and I thank coun­cil for be­stow­ing me with the priv­i­lege of rep­re­sent­ing the In­sti­tute on be­half of its mem­bers,” Mr Collins said.

“I would also like to thank Hay­den Groves for his hard work and ded­i­ca­tion to the in­sti­tute dur­ing his ten­ure as pres­i­dent.”

Lisa Joyce, from Joyce Prop­erty In­vest­ments, was elected deputy pres­i­dent of the coun­cil.
