Kam­balda will look to move off the bot­tom of the Gold­fields Football League stand­ings when they host Kal­go­or­lie on Satur­day to launch round 13.

Both teams are com­ing off big losses, with Kam­balda with­out a win since up­set­ting de­fend­ing pre­miers Rail­ways in round 4.

Kal­go­or­lie opened the sea­son with six straight losses be­fore hit­ting back by out­class­ing Kam­balda in round 8 and notch­ing a come from be­hind win over Rail­ways in round 11. The Roos oc­cupy fourth spot over Kam­balda by per­cent­age — 68.54 com­pared to the Ea­gles’ 63.27.

The round will be com­pleted on Sun­day when Rail­ways play Mines Rovers at Sir Richard Moore Sports Cen­tre.

Both league games start at 3pm.

A gen­eral bye ap­plies on the week­end of July 11-12 due to the GFL’s in­ter-league clash in Esper­ance.
