Boulder colts cruise to win over Kambalda
Trent Wojtowicz booted seven goals in Boulder’s big win over Kambalda in round 12 of the Goldfields Football League’s colts competition.
With Declan Wellstead and Riley Wojtowicz (three goals) also on song in the forward line, the Tigers cruised to victory by 104 points, 18.9 (117) to 2.1 (13).
Kambalda failed to score in the first half, with Cameron Graham and Eros Williams the goalkickers in the second.
Herbert Cameron and Sebastian Wellstead combined for nine goals in Kalgoorlie’s win over Mines Rovers, 13.10 (88) to 9.7 (61).
Cameron led the way with five in a Roos line-up that led at every change.
In the latest round of reserves matches, veteran Vic Smith bagged 10 goals in Boulder’s win, 18.10 (118) to 3.6 (24), against Kambalda. He received good support from Tim Champion and Kane Ryan, each with three goals.
Kalgoorlie beat Mines Rovers in the other clash, 14.9 (93) to 7.6 (48).
