Children enjoy ghoulish fun
Skeletons, blood juice and cobwebs were the order of the day during the annual family daycare services Halloween Party.
About 40 children in their scariest costumes gathered from Jess’ Family Daycare, Little Gems, Twinkle Toes and Lily Pad family daycare centres for the party.
Four nights of preparation at Jess’ Family Daycare owner Jess McKinnon’s home turned the back garage into a dark haunted house with jumping castles, scary murals and even a mummified skeleton in a locker.
Ms McKinnon said the centres usually celebrated big annual events together.
“It’s a great way for all of us to catch up and the kids love it,” she said.
“We’ll be doing something again for Christmas.”
