Col­lege farewells grad­u­ates

East­ern Gold­fields Col­lege stu­dents donned grad­u­a­tion robes this week as they bid farewell to their high school days.

The col­lege is on track to boast an­other 100 per cent grad­u­a­tion rate this year.

With the fi­nal hur­dle of the WACE ex­ams, which kick off next week, the school is just one step away from con­firm­ing all its 204 Year 12 stu­dents suc­cess­fully com­pleted the fi­nal year of high school.

EGC was last year among the State’s top schools, with 80 per cent of its univer­sity-bound grad­u­ates se­cur­ing an of­fer for their pre­ferred univer­sity course.
