LOCAL government is the level that people actually notice on a day-to-day basis, from parks, local roads and footpaths to waste collection, building approvals, libraries and other facilities and you can make a difference.

If you think that the council in Rockingham should be taking a different direction, or you have a strong passion for change in the community, then in less than four weeks the applications will open for people who are interested in becoming a City of Rockingham councillor.

An $80 deposit, photo and 150 words is all you need.

No experience needed; the time commitment beyond two meetings a month is up to you.
