Kwinana Courier - - Opinion - PAULINE DILLEY Shoalwater

I MUST keep faith with my fellow man and trust that we all see through this monstrous furphy called the Mangles Bay Marina. As we wait for the WAPC recommendations to be handed down, knowing that our State Government will make its own decision anyway, we must remind ourselves that the land in question was given to WA for public recreation. We are in great danger of the outcome being exclusive housing on public land which will be owned by temporary residents (Christmas, Easter and public holidays) while empty land throughout Rockingham languishes despite infill policy. No canals, no cafes, no marina. Just houses for the rich. And the thin end of a very nasty wedge.
