Enjoy a wildflower walk

Kwinana Courier - - Opinion -

THERE is a this Sunday. The walk will feature sculptures from artists Scott Daly and Lesley Barrett.

The inspiration for the sculptures comes from channelling things in a constant phase of transition, never really reaching any fixed form of destination.

The walk is with the Murdoch branch of the Wildflower Society.

It is an opportunity for people to experience the sculptures along the Wildflower Walk Path, adding a new dimension to the stripped back organic form and observing nature from a different perspective. This will be a highlight of the International Month of Biodiversity at the City of Kwinana.

Mayor Carol Adams said the addition of the sculptures creates a new way to discover and experience the landscape at a time when the bushland is alive with wildlife and wildflowers.

September is the international Month of Biodiversity, which promotes protecting, conserving and improving biodiversity both within Australia and across the world. in Kwinana
