EXOTICS AND RARITIES ALL

Kwinana Courier - - Driveway -

JAMES Bond was there, so was the Back to the Future car, several bulls from the Lamborghini herd and a Fiat 124 coupe with a plate in Roman numerals.

Plus more than 300 other exotics – including the return to Perth of the Drivetime Porsche after hibernating in Tasmania since Targa Tasmania 2016.

Sunday was Perth’s greatest Cars and Coffee gathering yet, with 350 classic vehicles on display and crowd numbers approaching 1000.

Standouts were a magnificent MG, apparently a K3 of circa 1933, replicas of a Jaguar D-Type and a Porsche RS 550 Spyder, and an amazing variety of other vehicles.

Among them were rarities such as a Simca 1000, an Alpine A110, a De Tomaso Longchamp, Italian beauties and some American muscle.

Just looking at the number plates told quite a story.
