Supporters can travel to the game on Sunday via a specially-chartered bus. The bus will leave Rushton Park at 11.30am and leave Subiaco at 6pm. The cost of $20 return must be paid prior to the weekend. Contact the football club to book a seat. PEEL Thunder are chasing back-to-back grand final success as they count down the days to this Sunday’s WAFL decider against Subiaco.

Peel Thunder chief executive John Ditchburn appealed to locals to support their local team.

“We would love to see as many locals as possible at Subiaco Oval this Sunday. It would be great if all our supporters could come up to cheer on their team,” he said.

Peel Thunder supporters who make the trip to Subiaco on the long weekend will be part of history.

After 132 WAFL grand finals, this will be the last grand final to be played at the traditional home of WA football.

The historic game will showcase some of the best football WA has to offer.

Organisers said the grand final encapsulated the spirit of the WAFL competition.

It would illustrate the tradition and importance of state football, they said.

Peel Thunder fans are encouraged to wear their team colours.
