Woman charged with scalding Trudi Lenon
A 35-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with scalding Trudi Lenon, the woman convicted of murdering Rockingham teen Aaron Pajich, by pouring hot water over her.
Midland detectives charged the woman at Bandyup Women’s Prison, where 44-year-old Lenon received serious burns.
Police allege that the woman poured a container of boiling water over Lenon at 8.25am on January 1.
Lenon was taken to Fiona Stanley hospital, where she is still being treated for her injuries.
Police said another prisoner, a 47-year-old female standing nearby at the time of the incident, received minor burn injuries.
The woman has been charged with two charges of causing bodily harm or danger. She is due to appear at Midland Magistrates Court on February 2.
