SMALL PACKAGES

Kwinana Courier - - Driveway -

There are auto safety braking, reversing camera with parking radar and seven-inch touchscreen with the latest smartphone connectivity. It’s quiet and comfortable, goes well enough and Kia always has value-add deals.

SUZUKI SWIFT, from about $15,990 drive-away

A classy arrival in 2017 with all the longstanding strengths of the Swift, from the compact body and easy parking to a solid feel and good performance from its 1.2-litre engine.

TOYOTA $18,550

YARIS,

from about

The modern equivalent of the 1990s Corolla, at least in size, and a very good car with the customary Toyota strengths. But it’s not a cheap car and it needs a deal to make it price competitive in the class.

The Picanto is small yet perfectly formed and should be ideal for you. Its only shortcoming is its four-star ANCAP safety rating. Just for interest, you should test drive the Yaris to benchmark the Kia.
