Girls just wanna have a fun night out

-

KYABRAM and district ladies have once again been encouraged to grab their mums, sisters and friends and take part in the annual Kyabram Girls Night Out. Girls night out committee member Helen Walsh said this year’s girls night out was set to be bigger and brighter than ever with this year’s theme set as Carnivale – “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” Ms Walsh said ladies were asked to wear the best bright and cheerful colours to compliment the theme. ‘‘We are so excited to see some face returning from last years amazing girls night out function as well as some new faces keen to find out what girls night out is all about,’’ she said. However the night does have a serious side with funds raised from the night going towards Kyabram Learning Centre to support programs for women and children living with family violence. “It is important that as a community we help to reduce family violence,’’ she said. ‘‘All profits from this years event will be used to fund youth programs to promote respectful relationships.’’ Ms Walsh also wished to thank local businesses who had again done their bit to support the event. ‘‘The support from our local businesses has been amazing,’’ she said. Girls Night Out will be held at the Kyabram Club from 6:00pm on Wednesday Oct 12. Ticket are priced at $30 per head which includes a selection of finger food and drinks. Tickets available are at the Dawes and Vary Office in Fenaughty Street from Warramunda Village, KCLC and from committee members. Enquiries to Helen Walsh 0438 522072.
