THE mystery trip was enjoyed by all with a trip to Bendigo and visiting places of interest over there.
It was a cool day for the trip and we are sure experiencing changes.
Christmas is creeping up and the lunch will be at the clubrooms on December 16 at noon.
Tickets are available at $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
Bowls last week winners were Peter Fry, Molly Sparks and Marj Tarrant.
Card winners were Ian Stone, Mary Bowman and Jean McGrath.
Bingo still draws a crowd on Monday nights and Thursday afternoons and all other activities continue until the Christmas break which will be announced shortly.
Get well wishes to any members on the sick list and hope that all will be able to enjoy the festive season.
Thanks again to all who work to make the club a place of enjoyment and friendship and we welcome new members and visitors to attend functions and the games room is open on Wednesdays for those interested in a game of pool or darts.
WE HAD our usual Christmas meal at the clubrooms and it was probably the best ever, with the tables decorated beautifully and decorations around the walls.
And every now and then the balloons popping startling the life out of everyone.
The food by Tongala Catering was just perfect and made the night great.
And those members going around speaking to those they did not know and making them feel welcome was great to see and we hope this will get some more to come to our activities next year.
Our next bus trip is to Rich River on December 12 for a Christmas meal.
This is a four-hour stay and a two-course meal and is a day trip. Ring Stan on 5859 0750 for a seat.
You need to be in soon as the bus will very soon fill. Looking forward to Christmas.
They seem to come around more quickly now.
However no matter your age it is a magical time of family getting together and remembering the reason for the season.
Our activities will stop on December 14 after bingo that day and will start up in January on a date to be advised.
Also Peter Clark and Mick and Tina Ryan (the newlyweds).
