Premier right on top

KYABRAM ripped right into Euroa from the opening centre pass in the Goulburn Valley Netball League as Holly Butler and Gemma Osborne starred in the wings at Memorial Oval.

Consistent delivery is seldom wasted when it heads into the goal circle of the reigning premier and Saturday was no exception as Elle Groves and Belinda Lees shot with superb accuracy.

Groves was a particular standout as she piled on 15 of Kyabram’s 22 goals in the first quarter alone.

Already 13 goals ahead at the first break, the Bombers were unstoppable against a young Euroa side.

But Kyabram brought the same intensity from the first half into the second, scoring 40 goals in the last two quarters to brush past the Magpies, 70-41.
