Kyabram Free Press - - NEWS -

IT’S starting to get serious.

The weather that is — lack of rain to be more precise.

Kyabram Weather Station has recorded just 18mm of rain in the past two months — 16mm in May and 2mm in June up to Monday.

Crops are now crying out for a decent rain event with the last substantial falls in April measuring 115.6mm at the Kyabram Weather Station which seems a long time ago now.

Kyabram has received 242.8mm for the year so far which is still above the JanuaryJune average for this period of 212.8mm.

Maximum temperatures for the MayJune period have also been above average.
