KY IS set to come alive this weekend. Allan St will be transformed for the day when the biggest shopping event on our calendar kicks off this Friday. The Bush Market will be bigger and better than ever as this year marks its 37th anniversary and the chance for locals to scoop some early Christmas bargains. Kyabram’s main street will be closed to trafÀc between Church St and Albion St from 8am to 5pm, allowing Kyabram Chamber of Commerce member businesses to set up stalls in the street. This year more businesses from across the district will be joining the action to provide an even greater range of products and bargains. And the day includes a show and shine with spectacular cars coming to town plus charity barbecues and a radio station being run by the Kyabram P-12 Year 9 students. The festivities will continue over the weekend with the Country Music Festival held at the showgrounds from Thursday until Sunday. Green thumbs will also converge for the annual Open Garden Day on Sunday.

Pictured cooking up a storm for the 2016 Bush Market were from left, Tony Alford, Allyson Bradley and Craig Carroll.
