Get rockin’ with Kelly and the gang
FOR a rockin’ good time head on down to the Wyuna Hall this Friday.
Fans of music from the 60s, 70s and 80s will be able to enjoy live music by Marke Kelly – and it’s all for a good cause, with the proceeds going to the Wyuna CFA.
Earle Phillips, a member of the organising committee, said patrons were sure to be entertained.
“Mark has been singing for quite a few years and he can sing a fairly wide range of songs,” Mr Phillips said.
“He’s a really good Elvis singer; he just has the voice for it. But it won’t be all rock, there’ll be ballads too.
“We’ve also got Paul Zito on the backing guitar and he’s very experienced.”
Even if you’re not a fan of rock, Mr Phillips said it’s a sure-fire way to keep the family entertained.
“But for a lot of people they’re not too worried about the artists, it’s more the hall atmosphere that they love,” Mr Phillips said.
“It’s just a good way to bring the community together and help support the local brigade’s work.”
All proceeds from the night will go towards the Wyuna CFA to buy equipment and supplies for the brigade.
The event kicks off at 7.30pm Friday, November 10 at the Wyuna Hall.
Tea and coffee supplied, BYO drinks and nibbles. Adults $10, children under 12 free.
