NOOSA CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL

TWENTY breweries small and large from across Australia will be at the one spot for a day full of beer, food and good times.
Go on a delicious journey of sipping, sampling and tasting some of the 80 beers, craft beers and ciders as well as international food stalls serving up authentic tastes. Chat to the people behind these brews while trying their products.
There will be talks on brewing techniques, face painting, balloon making and a jumping castle to keep the kids busy, as well as charity raffles in support of breast cancer and Sunshine Butterflies. Entry is a gold coin donation, with all proceeds donated towards these charities.

Q&A WITH BEASTMAN AND MIMI

Where: 6 Ocean St, Maroochydore.
A GIANT street art wall will be created by two of Australia’s leading street artists on Maroochydore’s Ocean St starting Monday, August 28, and finishing Wednesday, August 30.
The 17m x 8m long work brings together world-renowned artists Bradley Eastman (Beastman) and Emily Deavers (MIMI) in a live street art project, which will transform a vast blank wall into a scene reflecting the beauty and fragility of Australia’s seas. The pair will work collaboratively to create the first Sea Wall in Australia.
Sea Walls is part of the PangeaSeed Foundation’s public art program, which is designed to bring oceans to the street and provoke a conversation around conservation of the natural environment. The project will also be a legacy artwork for Horizon Festival.
Beastman and MIMI are set to complete the wall on August 30 at 4pm followed by a Q&A for the community to get up close and personal with the artists.
MALENY MUSIC FESTIVAL

EXPLORE a charming retro and vintage market for a cause. Supporting the not-for-profit local charity the Beautiful You Cancer Program, entry to this treasure chest of pre-loved goodies is $2, with all proceeds supporting women with cancer.
It is also appreciated to donate an old piece of jewellery or a handbag you no longer use to be sold, with proceeds going towards setting up the Beautiful You Retreat.
Want to hold a stall? Stall booking are $69, which includes a 3m x 3m area for you to set up your own trestle table and/or racks.
Set up is from 5–7am as doors open to shoppers at 7am.
