Where: The Shed at Downunder Drive, 73 Frizzo Rd, Palmview. EVERY month The Shed at Downunder Drive brings together some of the best Sunshine Coast musicians for an afternoon of live music. This month’s stellar line-up includes four-piece band Sametime, 2016 QMusic two-time nominee and award-winner Doolie, Triple J Unearthed chart-topper Fieu and APRA AMCOS Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition finalists Fragile Animals. All ages are welcome and entry is free, however it is recommended to reserve your spot at www.theshed.live.
COLLECTORAMA FAIR EVENT
Today Time: 7.30am–2.30pm
Where: Nambour Showgrounds, Coronation Ave, Nambour. WHERE can you find a treasure trove of antique, vintage and collectable items from 150 dealers all in the one spot? At the Collectorama Fair. Entry is $6 a person and admission is free for children under 12. There is an ATM on site and parking is free.

HONOURING First Nation people through music, dance, visual art, song and spoken word, Coolum’s Stumers Creek plays centre stage for the Horizon Festival finale. Featuring the Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe and a number of choir groups, as well as visual art installations, Dawn Awakening creates a place of gathering, remembering, dreaming and ritual. BYO rug or beach mat to sit on. Coffee and bush foods are available for purchase.
ACROYOGA, SLACKLINE WORKSHOP

LOOKING for a physical and mental challenge to conquer this weekend? Join The Kindness Collective and learn the fundamentals of acroyoga and slackline.
The Kindness Collective is the result of a passionate collaboration of locals sharing their skills and knowledge to improve the health and well-being of the community. The project aims to bring members of the community together through free events, classes and workshops, as well as the distribution of Kindness Cards. Please note, these classes are free but donations are always welcomed and appreciated to assist in the expansion of The Kindness Collective and other activities.

FATHER’S DAY RACE DAY
Time: Gates open 11am.
Where: Sunshine Coast Turf Club, 170 Pierce Ave, Caloundra.
BEERS, burgers and horse racing are on the agenda this Father’s Day at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club. There are a variety of hospitality packages available, including a buffet lunch in the function room complete with themed tables and a free beer on arrival for dad. It’s $55 a person or $30 for under-18s. Or opt for the beer and burger deal for $20 an adult at the Furlong Terrace. These prices include admission to the racecourse. The first race is at 1pm and there will be free kids’ entertainment on course.
IRONMAN 70.3 SUNSHINE COAST

Where: Mooloolaba Beach
CHEER on local, national and international competitors who set out to conquer the prestigious Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast. Starting with a swim off the surf beach followed by a flat and fast bike course, the run will tie up the day’s exciting events with a two-lap course around Mooloolaba’s Esplanade. This event provides a fitting warm-up for the athletes heading to Kona for the Ironman World Championship in October.
