SANCTUARY Retreats has partnered with French skincare brand L’Occitane en Provence to offer a new spa experience aboard its river cruise ship Sanctuary Ananda in Myanmar. L’Occitane’s first cruise spa offers a number of therapies for guests in two treatment rooms. Expert therapists have been trained by L’Occitane en Provence to provide spa treatments, and the menu has been exclusively designed to embrace traditional Burmese therapies that also stay true to the L’Occitane Spa experience. Treatments include reflexology, traditional Burmese massage, advanced body treatments and hydrotherapies. The spa is perfect for the Sanctuary Ananda cruise experience. Custom-built using traditional Myanmar materials, the ship has 21 suites which are some of the largest of any river cruise ship in Myanmar. L’Occitane’s spa network encompasses 92 spas in 30 countries. Sanctuary Ananda offers three-, four- and seven-night itineraries on the Upper Irrawaddy River, 11 nights on the Upper and Lower Irrawaddy River and 10 nights on the Chindwin River. ◗ DETAILS: sanctuaryretreats.com
