I’ve dug up weird andsome wonderful farm facts from all over the world! Hubert Berger from Germany holds the record for the longest tractor ride of all time! He visited 36 countries on his bumpy journey. The world’s largest butterfly farm is on a Malaysian island called Penang. This magical place is home to over 4000 butterflies and more than 50 different species. Wow! Bananas are the top fruit crop in the world, with India growing more of the tasty yellow fruit than any other country! Did you know Taylor Swift grew up on a Christmas tree farm? A cow can make up to 26 litres of milk each day. Whoa! Chickens are great at communicating! They can make over 200 different sounds to “talk” to their fellow animals.

Farming is big business in Australia! Aussie farms produce wheat, wool, wine and meat and send it all over the world. In a 2011 survey, there were 157 000 farmers in Australia. The first farms appeared around 10,000 BC. Before that, people lived in tribes that moved around looking for food to eat.
