An iPad as a sketchpad?
Q I’m an architectural illustrator, and on my iMac, I use a Wacom Intuos Pro graphics tablet. I also make sketches when I’m visiting clients, and have to scan these and import them to Photoshop. I’m considering an iPad to pass the time on train journeys, and it occurs to me that this might be usable as a sketchbook. Feasible? Anthea Martinez A iPads aren’t pressure sensitive. Drawing apps attempt to emulate this by varying line width based on the speed of a stroke, but it isn’t quite as good. However, there are styluses that send pressure information over Bluetooth.
