Avoid­ing my daugh­ters’ apps

I have two teenage daugh­ters and ev­ery time they sync their iPhones to my iMac to back them up, all their games and apps are copied across to the Mac. Th­ese then get synced onto my iPad the next time I sync it. Is there any way to stop this? They both have their own Ap­ple IDs. Joyce Gorm­ley It’s easy to keep their apps off your iPad. Se­lect the iPad icon from the de­vices list on the left in iTunes, click the Apps tab and uncheck the ‘Au­to­mat­i­cally in­stall new apps’ box.
