Start iPhone conversations fast
Contact Center is about starting conversations more easily. You get a user-definable grid to which you add icons for performing a specific task, such as a group SMS, calling a number, or sending a predefined message. It’s also possible to create folders, into which you can place these icons. This potentially extends the available number of slots from 12 (or 15 if you remove the ad via IAP) to 132 (or 210).
The app takes time to set up and the process can be quite involved, but there’s assistance in being able to convert an existing contact into a folder with one tap. In use, Contact Center proves an efficient companion to Apple’s Contacts app. The only disappointment is a lack of social network integration – although it recognises WhatsApp’s existence, it’s entirely oblivious to Twitter and Facebook. A useful app for very quickly starting calls or messages to people you converse with frequently.
