Mail won’t con­nect to Out­look

I can’t con­nect to Out­look. I was able to ini­tially, log­ging in via Google Chrome to out­look.com, but now when I try to use the same pass­word and all the same de­tails, I can’t log on… Bob Gar­butt If you can still ac­cess your email through the browser, try set­ting up the ac­count us­ing IMAP in­stead of POP3. Go to Mail > Ac­counts… and delete the old Out­look ac­count. Then click ‘+’ to cre­ate a new ac­count and se­lect ‘Add Other Ac­count…’. En­ter your ad­dress de­tails, but use the wrong pass­word. When this fails to lo­gin, you’ll even­tu­ally be told that the ‘ac­count must be man­u­ally con­fig­ured’. Choose IMAP and add the cor­rect pass­word, and it should sync your email ad­dress cor­rectly with the Mail app.
