Retirement of both board members follows mid-2014 claims Cook has been looking to bring new skills to the board, and mid-2013 claims that some board members were critical of Apple’s new CEO. This criticism may have been misplaced as Apple continues to break quarterly records. Drexler’s replacement has not yet been named.
