What’s up with my password?

A Does your Apple ID work anywhere else? Try logging in at https://appleid.apple.com. If you can log in there, then perhaps the email address used for your login is wrong on the iPad. Check it in Settings > iTunes & App Store. If the email address there matches the one you used when you logged in through the web browser, try signing out on all your mobile devices and then changing the password on your desktop. If this still doesn’t work, or you can’t even log in through the web browser, it’s possible your account has been locked. You’ll need to go to www.apple.com/ support/appleid and get Apple to reset your Apple ID account.
