The iPad Pro and Ap­ple Pen­cil make an amaz­ing paint­ing de­vice, but they aren’t cheap. If you have a 13-inch Mac­Book Air and would rather make use of that for your artis­tic out­put, AirBar could come in handy. It’s a sleek alu­minium bar that, once plugged into one of your Mac­Book’s USB ports, trans­forms its dis­play into a touch­screen. It works with any in­put de­vice, from an Ap­ple Pen­cil or brush, to your fin­ger or even a banana, the de­vel­oper claims. It also told us it’s plan­ning to roll out sup­port for other MacBooks in the fu­ture, so keep your eyes peeled. $99 (about £82) in­cludes AirBar strip web­site works with 13-inch Mac­Book Air
