1 Enable DND

We’ll create a simple ‘work mode’ shortcut that helps you remain focused. Open Shortcuts, tap Create Shortcut, then Add Action. Tap Scripting, then Set Do Not Disturb. Tap Off so it becomes ‘On until Turned Off’.

2 Upcoming tasks

Tap the ‘+’ to add another action. Tap Apps, then scroll to Reminders and tap it. Select Show Reminders List, then tap the name of the list and select your list of work reminders. This will display your upcoming tasks.

3 Voice prompt

Now we need to finalise the shortcut. Tap the ‘…’ button in the topright corner and give the shortcut a name – this is the phrase that will trigger it. Tap Done, then tap Done again to finish. Test it with the Play button.
