Connect to iTunes

There are two ways to connect iTunes Remote to iTunes on your Mac — seenrmt. Home Sharing is the newer method. Once done, at the app’s top level, tap your iTunes library and wait for its contents to appear.

Set your shortcuts

Browsing and initiating playback will be familiar enough. You can also manage playlists from the iOS app. Tap More to browse your iTunes library in additional ways, then Edit if you want to change the bottom bar’s contents.

Control playback

At the top right of most views, tap Now Playing to access playback controls, a link to the current track’s source, the Up Next queue, and an AirPlay icon to set which speaker(s) receive audio and their volume(s).
