How to Restrict cell values

-

1 Slider or stepper

Tap the cell whose values you want to restrict to a numeric range, then open the Format inspector. Tap the Format tab and choose Slider or Stepper depending on how you want data to be entered, then tap the ‘i’.

2 Set cell format

Choose how to format the cell — as a number, currency or percentage — then tap ‘i’ next to that for more options, such as the number of decimals and if a Thousands Separator is shown. Other options vary by format.

3 Specify limits

Finally, use the Minimum and Maximum Value items to set lower and upper limits for the number that can be entered in the cell. Use Increment to control how the number jumps as the slider or stepper is adjusted.
