WE NEED A TWO LANE SOLUTION

Mandurah Coastal Times - - OPINION -

LAST week stuck in the traffic crawl up to the glorious estuary bridge, I followed a motorist to the other snail crawl up to the Old Bridge where Zak Kirkup had the Liberal safari trailer parked to add to the confusion.

What a thrill. Hopefully Peter Bell on the ABC Radio will include Mandurah in all future 8am road traffic reports.

Hopefully a Labor McGowan government will give the police an extra patrol car in Falcon so Officer Plod won't have to charge down the highway through Halls Head 10 times a day.

Probably the old Tuckey Store would be a good location for a police gymnasium.

Clearly Adam Woodage is correct. The Liberals had their chance with law and order issues and failed. But would Labor have solutions to make that revolving door circus pageant at the Magistrates Court more accountable so police won't have to apprehend the same culprits twice a month?

At least Dave Schumacher has a potential solution to open up two lanes on the Estuary Bridge for early morning motorists. This system is used on the Sydney Harbour Bridge every day of the year. DAVID COOMBS, Halls Head.
