MANDURAH Detectives believe Scott John Maclean can assist with their investigation into a stealing and trespassing incident. About 3am on Tuesday, July 11, two men drove a white Toyota Landcrusier on to a farming property on Napier Road in Meelon. The men hooked up a trailer and loaded it with $4000 of copper cabling. They drove off along a nearby railway line but became bogged in deep mud. The men returned on foot to the same farm and stole a large crane, driving it back to where the vehicle was bogged. They attempted to use the crane to remove the Toyota from the mud, but the crane became bogged. The men removed the registration plates from the Toyota and left the scene.
